Eric Rosenbush has devoted his life to the study of the traditional sciences of Asia, their ancient texts and living transmissions. He currently maintains a clinical practice of classical Tibetan, Chinese, and Ayurvedic medicines in India and California. As an instructor with the International Academy of Traditional Tibetan Medicine (IATTM), he teaches Tibetan Medicine and other subjects in many centers around the world.
Eric studied Tibetan Medicine with Dr. Nida Chenagtsang and other Tibetan doctors in the US and Asia and is a co-founder of the Sorig Institute of Tibetan Medicine (IATTM USA), serving as Educational Director until moving to Asia in 2014. He is also a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist and has spent years in India studying classical Ayurveda and Jyotisha (Vedic Astrology) from traditional lineages. Additionally, Eric is involved with various humanitarian projects in Asia. He currently also directs the Ngakmang Foundation US, a charity working in Tibet to preserve the lineage of Ngakpas — Tibetan yogis — and conducting projects providing training and health care using traditional medicine in the Himalayan regions. In addition, Eric is an active member of the Dunagiri Foundation, working in the Indian Himalayas to preserve and cultivate threatened alpine medicine plants.
