Dr. Nida Chenagtsang

Dr. Nida Chenagtsang is the guiding light and principle teacher of IATTM, a network of Tibetan medical schools spread throughout over 24 countries.

He studied the local medical system in his home-region of Amdo, Tibet and completed his formal training at the Lhasa Tibetan Medical University. Later, he practiced in various hospitals in Tibet, and has published many works on Traditional Tibetan Medicine. Dr Nida has extensively researched ancient Tibetan medicinal treatments, specializing in the revival of external therapies, which has brought him high acclaim in the field of Tibetan Medicine in both the East and West. Director of the International Academy for Traditional Tibetan Medicine (IATTM), he also co-founded the International Ngak-Mang Institutes (NMI), established to preserve and maintain the Rebkong Ngakpa culture within modern Tibetan society. For many years, he has been teaching courses on Tibetan Medicine, the spiritual tradition of Yuthok Nyingthig and other related sciences all over the world.

Dr. Machig

Dr. Machig is a senior doctor and professor in Amdo, Northeastern Tibet. He began studying Traditional Tibetan Medicine in 1983 with Dr. Jigme, then went to the Medical University in Lhasa from 1989. After completing the 5 years training in the Tibetan medical collage, Dr. Machig returned to Amdo to work as a doctor in Malho hospital, where he has practiced and taught for over 30 years. His medical lineage is based on the Chagpori medical school, incorporating both of the historical Zur and Jang traditions, yet focusing on the former. Clinically, his specialty is in the treatment of rheumatism and arthritic conditions.

Eric Rosenbush, L.Ac

Eric Rosenbush practices classical Tibetan, Chinese, and Ayurvedic medicines in India and California. As an instructor with the International Academy of Traditional Tibetan Medicine (IATTM), he teaches Tibetan Medicine and other subjects in many centers around the world.

Anastazja Holecko, MD

Anastazja Holecko is a Medical Doctor practicing in Prague, as well as a practitioner and instructor of Tibetan Medicine and KuNye therapies. She is the managing editor of the TTM Journal, and the Eastern Europe coordinator for IATTM.

Tam Nguyen, MD

Tam Nguyen, MD. Acting Director and teacher of the International Academy for Traditional Tibetan Medicine (IATTM). Resident of Internal Medicine and Psychiatry in Switzerland. In her leading function of the IATTM Head Office Team since 2011 it is her aim to promote education, training, publications and common awareness of Sowa Rigpa of the highest standard possible in this field.
